Nirvel Cosmetics and renewable energies
Within the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, and with the aim of being increasingly sustainable, at Nirvel Cosmetics we have accepted the Project of the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE), co-financed by the European Union, and within the ERDF Operational Program of the Valencian Community 2021-2027. Nirvel Cosmetics is committed to renewable energy with the installation of photovoltaic solar panels at its headquarters.
The Alcoy company ENILEC has been in charge of installing the 508 photovoltaic solar panels on the roof of the Nirvel Cosmetics headquarters, which will occupy more than 1,200m2, and which will allow the generation of electricity from renewable energy sources.
The photovoltaic solar panels, with a power of 200KW, will generate more energy than Nirvel Cosmetics will consume. The objective of the installation is none other than to take advantage of electrical energy internally and cover all our needs. The surplus energy will be stored and new uses will be sought within the Industrial Symbiosis program promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana and IVACE.
Nirvel Cosmetics will save more than 92 tons of CO2 emissions, which is equivalent to 4,248 trees planted.
Renewable energies are clean, inexhaustible and increasingly competitive sources of energy for companies, and Nirvel Cosmetics will do its bit by reducing greenhouse gases and polluting emissions
