Concern for the environment has enabled us to obtain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification. Therefore, we carry out actions to reduce the impact of production processes on the environment.

As a result of these actions, we have managed to:

• Reduce consumption and cost of resources
• Reduce the amount of waste produced and facilitate its reuse.
• Reduce water discharges and maintain the level of emissions to the atmosphere.

In 2017, we succeeded in reducing the amount of GIS packaging and conditioning containers produced, such as waste glass, aluminium, paper and cardboard as well as HDPE plastic.

We have also managed to reduce the waste we produce in a number of categories. The reduction in expired product, paper, cardboard and industrial water discharges is particularly noteworthy.

Finally, it should also be noted that we have managed to reduce water consumption from 4.83m³ to 4.70m³ per tonne of product manufactured, by making a more efficient use of this resource.
